After a dockside remembrance ceremony in honor of victims of the terrorist attacks of September 11 2001, on Freeport’s Nautical Mile, further ceremonies were held on board the boat Miss Freeport V, which sailed from the Woodcleft Canal on the South Shore of Long Island, on the eve of the 13th Anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.
