JULEIGH CHIN, candidate for Nassau County Legislator, District 9, introduced Adams, the recent former Speaker of the NYC Council, to the audience filling the large meeting room at Nassau County Democratic Headquarters.

Enthusiastic NWDC members, civic leaders, and candidates running in local races in Nassau County frequently applauded during Adams’ spirited speech. Candidates included:

Adams stressed how Governor Hochul and she, as Lieutenant Governor, are the best choice for the affordability, safety, and more for New Yorkers.
Then she encouraged everyone to pitch in to help get out the vote for New York State’s Democratic “Governor – Lieutenant Governor” ticket: Kathy Hochul – Adrienne Adams.
At the end of the meeting, many added their names to the volunteer sign-up sheets they passed on their way out.
