ADRIENNE ADAMS, the Democratic candidate for New York lieutenant governor, was the special guest at the Nassau Women’s Democratic Caucus April meeting.
Running mates Gov. Kathy Hochul and Adrienne Adams, the former Speaker of the NYC Council, form the historic first all-female gubernatorial ticket for a major party in New York.

Enthusiastic NWDC members, civic leaders, and candidates running in local races in Nassau County frequently applauded during Adams’ spirited speech. Candidates included:

Adams stressed how she and Governor Hochul are the strongest candidates for affordability, safety, and more in New York.
Then she encouraged everyone to pitch in to help get out the vote for New York State’s Democratic ‘Governor – Lieutenant Governor’ ticket: Kathy Hochul – Adrienne Adams.
And, at the end of the meeting, many did indeed add their names to the volunteer sign-up sheets they passed on their way out.
