Friday night, I went back in time to A Night in Bethlehem, where visitors enjoyed grinding olives, making beeswax candles and other activities at re-creations of shops from two thousand years ago, and experienced a Living Nativity manger scene with Joseph, Mary and baby Jesus, complete with animal stable.

The Advent event ‘A Night in Bethlehem’ is free and open to the public, at the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection in Garden City, Long Island, New York. It’s a special Christmas treat for the whole family.
